Do you really mean when you use a lamp to visit the main switch of your house all electric? When this happens, you have a bigger problem than can be answered. Call a professional. If you have said that travel breaks then there is a problem with the lamp. A son, probably fell on the lamp making contact with others. That should be easy to fix - Unplug the lamp, pull apart the connector and close down the cable.

If in fact the main switch then trips the circuit breaker can be bad. The smallest circuit breaker trip should only be concluded in this region. Regardless of the broken lamp.
It looks like something that has shaken loose on the base, and was originally a short film. Or ask someone to repair it and shake it.

You may need to connect things together, that is the switch of the lamp, "the last straw, and make the switch
