Why do Puerto Ricans and Dominicans skip over Virgina, North Carolina and only go to New York? - a virgina

Why are Puerto Ricans and Dominicans leap across Virginia, North Carolina or South and not to New York. So why the two do not go to Florida and other Latin Americans? But why is that none of them go to Virginia, North Carolina or South?

Well, in 1800, came Puerto Ricans in New York to Spain was hell to avoid doing for them, and think those were the richer for steamships ... if the United States, more soldiers, the Jones-Shafroth Act, making all Puerto Ricans were U.S. citizens who travel to learn more about wine, and you do not need a passport. I assume that you experience in Miami, to New York to as part of their ... Countrymen. But when you come to Miami, I am more than willing to place!

What is the point of going to Virginia or North Carolina?

There are many more opportunities for employment and promotion in New York than elsewhere in the country. The Dominicans and Puerto Ricans were Goin to New York for 40 years and is usually only when other Dominicans were to facilitate the transition.

Yes, in the south is quite racist. In addition to the north more liberals and Democrats who offer a wide range of services. It may be a single mother, has 5 children, and everything there is to be paid. It is more difficult in the south.

They do not know why not stay in Florida where ..
